Importance of Relevant Content
First of all, content is the gold. I am sure you hear that frequently and you probably aware of it already but better to repeat as much as we can. No matter how perfectly coded website you might have or how quality server you might host your files at or the catchiest domain name you might have, all are nothing but a detail if you don’t have the content to support them.

Do not focus “too much” to your design. I don’t mean leave it behind, a little make-up wont do any harm, and just make sure your coding fits the required standards but just dont make designing the priority if you are trying to take a high place in the search engine results.
Search engines are looking for a well built content, takes it from the pool, and puts it on a place where everyone can see, so the valuable information would not to be wasted in the mass. From this point of view, try to make the difference and point out the valuable information that the audience seek. To do that you need to prepare relevant content to the topics you cover with your website and give that information smootly.
Think as if you are the visitor
During your plans on what kind of content you should post, think in a way that you are the visitor. Think what you want to see in a page and what it should serve for you to bookmark it for future usage ? If you are a standard web user the answers you have are the keys for your plans on building the content.
