How To List Better in Local Searches
If you are looking to have better results in local searches, you better include your business category, city and state details in the title tag.
Title order example:
Business Category : Your Website Name, City – State
instead of
Website Name
As seen, I added SEO as the business category, website name, and a location information. Emphasis here; This title tag option goes to the ones who give priority to list in local SERPS. Since the searchers add specific details such as state and business category when doing a local based search, listing those fields in your title tags will add your website a higher value from that point of view.
