Google Webmaster Tools Update: Site Performance Tool
Google Webmaster Tools now have a new tool under the Lab menu; Site Performance Tool. This tool will let you to check details on your website loading speed.
It has a section named Performance Overview where the tool shows a chart showing your pages load speeds per day and month plus a statistical information regarding your websites average speed rate among all the websites that Google logs.
There is also a Page Speed Suggestions section which gives you ways on how to improve your website loading speed with a list of urls that can be optimized. Tips include enabling gzip compression, combining external JavaScripts, minimizing DNS lookups and combining external CSS files where possible.
